Not later than 180 days after the date 21of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National In-22telligence, in coordination with the Secretary of the Treas-23ury and the Secretary of State, shall submit to the appro-24priate congressional committees a report on the personal net worth of and assets owned by Russian President Vladi-1mir Putin, including—2(1) the estimated net worth and known sources 3of income of Vladimir Putin and his family mem-4bers, including assets, investments, bank accounts, 5other business interests, and relevant beneficial own-6ership information; 7(2) with respect to bank accounts, real estate 8holdings, and other financial assets, including those 9outside of Russia, that are owned by or accessible to 10Putin—11(A) the location of such accounts, holdings, 12or assets; and 13(B) the contents of such accounts or the 14amount held through such holdings or assets; 15(3) any ‘‘front’’ or shell companies, or other 16intermediaries, used by Vladimir Putin to hide as-17sets from public disclosure; and 18(4) an identification of the most significant sen-19ior Russian political figures and oligarchs who facili-20tate the corrupt practices of Vladimir Putin.

The government of Russian President 1Vladimir Putin employs a system of corruption and 2illicit financial ties as a tool for consolidating its do-3mestic political control and projecting power abroad 4to weaken other democratic countries. 5(5) Russia has also significantly stepped up its 6efforts to confront the United States and its allies 7politically and militarily, and to counter American 8influence worldwide, including by the following: 9(A) Invading and illegally occupying Cri-10mea. 11(B) Intervening in and occupying parts of 12eastern Ukraine. 13(C) Deploying substantial military forces 14and undertaking a ruthless bombing campaign 15in Syria to prop up the regime of Bashar al-16Assad and defeat the American-supported oppo-17sition. 18(D) Significantly expanding its armed 19forces and deploying missiles in violation of 20treaty commitments. 21(E) Undertaking large military exercises 22designed to intimidate other countries. 23(F) Interfering in the political systems of 24democracies around the world.
4(G) Using the threat of cutting off gas 1supplies as leverage over the most energy-de-2pendent European countries.
